Cardinal Crossing
Cardinal Crossing
The 60-million-dollar project makes Cardinal Crossing the city's largest mixed-use development to date.
Located along Forest Drive at the site of the old Cardinal Newman High School, the development’s 43,500 square feet of commercial space continues to attract new businesses to the heart of Forest Acres.
Residents can currently enjoy eateries like Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar, Clean Juice and Nothing Bundt Cakes and boutique gyms including Cycle Bar and Club Pilates. Other businesses that call Cardinal Crossing home include Go Clear Orthodontics and Aria Nail Spa.
City Council also recently amended local ordinances to allow for a wine bar that is currently under construction as well as additional outdoor dining to accommodate two other restaurant parcels. Molto Vino will open its second regional location here in Cardinal Crossing in Spring 2022.
Poogan's Southern Kitchen will open in the first half of 2022 as well. It will occupy the front space along Forest Drive directly across from Bad Daddy's Burger Bar.
Currently, the Cardinal Apartments feature 256 residential units that are 100% occupied.
The remaining retail space is being offered by commercial realtors, Colliers International. Colliers is marketing the remaining commercial space as a development that “offers a bright future with a vision to continue Forest Acres’ tradition of creating vibrant communities in which to work, live and enjoy.”
The Cardinal Crossing development was built by The Beach Company based in Charleston.
