Update (7/2/2020)
During a called meeting on July 2, 2020 at 1pm, Forest Acres City Council voted unanimously to enact Ordinance 2020-14, which mandates use of face coverings in most public spaces. The ordinance goes in to effect on July 6, 2020 at 12:01 am. Forest Acres City Council did not make this decision lightly but felt that it was their duty to protect the public and continue the ongoing efforts to diminish the spread of COVID-19. The City of Forest Acres is cooperating and working with the State of South Carolina, Richland County and our municipal neighbors during this public health emergency. We will continue to utilize the best management practices as they become available.
